Southfork Sneakaway in Southern Idaho
The Southfork Sneakaway is located north of Fairfield, Idaho. Fairfield is a small mountain town that has a couple restaurants, a gas station , grocery store and an excellent coffee house. It is about an hour drive from Fairfield to Southfork Sneakaway. Road trip through the Soldier Mountains to access the VRBO vacation rental. First, you’ll pass Soldier Mountain Ski Resort, then a couple of hot springs!
The beautiful cabin, surrounded by the Sawtooth National Forest, is perfect for friends and family to cozy up together in the woods. Find the backyard set up to enjoy a fire, play games, and watch the sun go down. The cabin itself is 2,400 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It sleeps 12 people, perfect for a family getaway! Enjoy the private rental with a gate at the entrance and a section of the river all to yourselves.
One of the hot springs nearby is only a 10 minute drive to the trailhead! This is Skillern Hot Springs, a 6 mile round trip hike to the most beautiful secluded hot springs. The spring sits in the side of a boulder above the river.
Worswick Hot Springs is not a hike at all, just a park and run to the springs up the mountain! There are many pools here, each getting hotter and hotter as they go up the mountain.
