Both drops of Mermaid Cove are also visible from Auger Falls Heritage Park on the south side of the Snake River. The hike leads all the way down to the Snake River as you follow the somewhat steep switchbacks. At the river, you’ll come upon the previously Broken Bridge, which is now fixed! You can hike or bike across Broken Bridge and continue onto the trails of Auger Falls Heritage Park.

Because this destination is popular, please remember to pack out what you pack in to keep the litter minimal. Leave no trace when hiking to Mermaid Cove.
