The perfect days to enjoy the outdoors in Hagerman are the two last weekends of September! Two exciting events will make for the perfect getaway with family and friends. The Hagerman Car Show, “A Blast on the Grass” is on Saturday September 17th, 2022. Thousand Springs Festival of the Arts is September 24th and 25th, 2022. Depending on which event speaks more to you, you may be booking a weekend trip or a week long trip to Hagerman!

Hagerman Car Show

A Blast on the Grass is located at Hagerman City Park. Cars will be organized on the green grass, shining in the sun.  Food and craft vendors will have items available for purchase, and there will be live music after the car show.  Four large raffle prizes will be given away, and a scavenger hunt will take place for more opportunities to win! Festival of the Arts

The Thousand Springs Festival of the Arts is located just outside of Hagerman at Ritter Island. Locals look forward to this beautiful festival annually! Amazing art, pottery, sculpture, and tasty treats are lined up along the riverbed. More than 90 vendors will be there! Waterfalls surround the tents and kayaks float by on the blue water that splits the island from the canyon walls. Taste all the delicious jams, salsas, and spices from the finest local businesses. Accommodations

Have dinner at the Snake River Grill after you’ve viewed all the cars and shopped the incredible festival. They have a great set up, delicious food, and amazing service. Bullets ‘n Brews can suit your coffee needs to get you energized for the day! Both of these businesses are locally owned treasures. The Hagerman Valley Inn is also a fantastic spot to spend the night. Be sure to book accommodations early because of the busy weekend. The river is located just minutes from here as well as the restaurants.

Many variations of treasure can be found in the Hagerman Valley. Enjoy hikes nearby such as Box Canyon and the Hagerman Fossil Beds. Stop by the brand new Thousand Springs and Hagerman Fossil Bed Visitors Center to discover truly what this area has to uncover. A bike trail runs through most of town for the public as well!   There is no better time to get out and have fun because the warm weather is coming to an end.
