What is more romantic than adventuring with the person you love? Take a trip to Twin Falls and Buhl to enjoy the perfect Valentines (or Galantines) day!

Brunch:

Crepes, Art, and Shopping

We recommend staying the night before at the Filmore Inn to get a good nights sleep before a day of memory making. This boutique hotel has romantic room options, and is the perfect place to wind down with a loved one. Start the morning right with brunch by treating yourself to crepes and coffee at Twin Beans Coffee Company. They are located downtown Twin, surrounded by historical buildings. Twin Beans makes incredible crepes ranging from sweet to savory. The coffee and tea always tastes great and will prepare you for your day. Roam around downtown Twin to view art on display, and stop into browse cool, local shops!

Afternoon Shenanigans:

Axe Throwing.

Throw axes for a twist on Valentines day! The Bearded Axe is also located downtown, and is the Magic Valley’s premier axe-throwing gym. It is a great way to make fun memories, and is absolutely empowering to do. The gym provides axes for you to throw at wooden targets. It feels great to hit the bullseye, and you can even throw two at once to really challenge yourself!

 Chasing Waterfalls

Kiss under a waterfall at Perrine Coulee! The waterfall spills over the canyon ledge, and has a path that leads under it. You may get wet; so if that’s not something you’d like, we suggest parking below the waterfall to hike up to it without going behind it. This time of year it is common to see the waterfall, and the and the canyon surrounding it, covered in icicles! It is a great picture-worthy spot to document the day.

Love Lock Fence

Put a lock on the Love Lock Fence and watch the sunset go down over Snake River Canyon. Walk along the Canyon Rim Trail starting at the Perrine Bridge/Visitor’s Center Parking lot. Walk about 1/4 mile west and look for a little fence that sits below the trail. It is just like being in Paris, but this gate has a view of a canyon! Magic Valley temperatures generally stay warmer than most locations in Idaho. February temperatures can reach up to 50 degrees!

Evening Romance:

Dinner with a View

Continue along the Canyon Rim Trail to find beautiful, classy restaurants that look over the Snake River Canyon. Then, stop to have dinner on the canyon’s edge at Elevation 486! They have tasty drinks, delicious courses, and mouth watering deserts. There is not a more romantic location to be!

Hot Spring Soaking

Hot Springs

End the best Valentines day ever at Miracle Hot Springs! The drive takes about 40 minutes from Twin Falls, but is well worth the drive. Reserve a private room at Miracle by calling (208)543-6002. They have VIP private rooms, regular private rooms, or a general admission pool. Hot Spring soaking is not only the ultimate Valentines day destination, but even has health benefits! Miracle Hot Springs also has couples massages available to book.  Their hours are 8AM to 11PM, Monday – Saturday.
