Murtaugh Lake is nearly 700 acres and 10 feet deep at its lowest spot making it the perfect place to go camping. Located in Twin Falls County, the lake and park and camping area are easy to access. The nearby town of Murtaugh has a number of services and a world famous bass bait company. Don’t forget to bring your poles and enjoy miles of open water.

Winter Ice Fishing at Murtaugh Lake

When the winter has been cold and consistently freezing Murtaugh Lake freezes over and provides ice fishing opportunities! Be sure to only go out if you have experience checkin the thickness of the ice, or if you see other people are out fishing too. Be careful, stay warm, and catch some fish!
