Tucked away in the Sawtooth National Forest lies the Magic Mountain Ski Resort. Magic Mountain is just outside of Twin Falls and offers skiers and snowboarders easy access to southern Idaho’s famous snow. This mountain has great trails for all skill levels and a few small cliffs for anyone daring enough to jump off of them. The lift passes are affordable, they offer on site rentals and lessons for anyone getting started.

The Magic Mountain Resort also offers a very awesome tubing hill. Buy a pass and have your tubes lifted up the hill for you. Then come rushing down one of several runs. It’s a great snow experience for all ages. To warm up hang out in the cozy wooden lodge. There are restrooms, food, apparel and some other goodies. The rental shop has helmets, boots, boards, skis and will assist you with anything you need for your first time out there!
Magic Mountain Ski Resort is an hour drive from Twin Falls, and a 2.5 hour drive from Boise and Pocatello. Why ski at Magic Mountain? They are locally owned, and very small. It’s truly the perfect mountain to take your family to save money and learn how to ski/snowboard together. Look out for the local moose and their babies out on the mountain, too!
Twilight Tubing
Magic Mountain offers twilight tubing, which is tubing under the starts on their hill! Tubing can also happen during the day on the weekends.
