Cross-country skiing at Pomerelle on nearby trails – including Connor Flat and Mt. Harrison.
Pick up maps at the Pomerelle ticket office. Skiers need to check in there before and after skiing. The area is not patrolled and weather can change quickly. The USFS marked trails are free to the public, but they are not part of Pomerelle Resort’s operation. Check with the USFS office for conditions before hitting the trail. These areas are ungroomed. Do not x-country alone or without letting someone know your whereabouts.
The Mt. Harrison/Howell Canyon area also has snowmobiling areas. There is a parking lot with a warming shelter, located approximately 1/2 mile below Pomerelle Resort’s base parking lot.
