Who We Are

Visit Southern Idaho is the official destination marketing organization for Idaho’s Region IV and is operated by the Twin Falls Area Chamber of Commerce.

Until 2025, tourism promotion for the region was managed by an organization known as Southern Idaho Tourism. Beginning in 2026, administration of the region’s tourism marketing program transitioned to the Twin Falls Area Chamber of Commerce, which now serves as the designated grantee for tourism marketing funds provided through the Idaho Regional Travel and Convention Grant Program.

These funds originate from Idaho’s lodging tax and are administered through the Idaho Department of Commerce and Idaho Travel Council. By law, these funds are dedicated to promoting tourism and attracting visitors to Idaho communities.

Our Mission

Our mission is to increase visitor spending, support local businesses, promote regional attractions, and strengthen the tourism economy throughout Southern Idaho.

While the Twin Falls Area Chamber of Commerce serves as the grant recipient and administrator, Visit Southern Idaho exists to serve the entire Region IV tourism district—not just Twin Falls County.

The Region We Serve

Region IV includes seven counties across South Central Idaho:

  • Cassia County
  • Camas County
  • Gooding County
  • Jerome County
  • Lincoln County
  • Minidoka County
  • Twin Falls County

Together, these counties offer visitors a diverse range of experiences including outdoor recreation, agriculture, western heritage, scenic landscapes, small-town charm, events, dining, lodging, and family-friendly attractions.

Regional Collaboration

Visit Southern Idaho works closely with local communities, chambers of commerce, economic development organizations, attractions, lodging properties, restaurants, event organizers, and tourism stakeholders across all seven counties.

Guidance and feedback are provided through the Region IV Tourism Committee, which includes representatives from throughout the region and helps ensure tourism marketing efforts reflect the interests and opportunities of all participating counties.
