Thousand Springs Scenic Byway
Take historic HWY 30 through the communities of Bliss, Hagerman & Buhl. This winding road will leads you down the Snake River, by hot springs, fossil bed and thousands of waterfalls.
A slight detour will take you by Balanced Rock. A 48′ tall bolder precariously balances on a 3′ base. It defies gravity and nature!

City of Rocks Scenic Byway
Pioneers traveled the Emigrant Trail discovered a ‘Silent City’ with granite spires and hoodoos. It was a striking sight coming out of the Southern Idaho high desert. Now visitors can travel along the City of Rock Scenic Byway and see the historic towns of Almo, Albion, and Oakley. Each is steeped with history and natural beauty.

Sawtooth Scenic Byway
The Sawtooth Mountain Range is one of the most beautiful in the state. The scenic drive starts just outside of Train Town USA Shoshone, Idaho. Shoshone was a hub of transportation and many celebrities and presidents stayed at the Historic McFall Hotel.
Today, visitors can explore lava tubes that start travelers on their journey. The Shoshone Ice Cave is even filled with ice and responsible for the first cold beer in Idaho.
