Tea Kette Cave is a hidden oasis in the Southern Idaho desert.
Named after its shape, explorers must venture down the kettle’s spout to access the cave floor. Vibrant green ferns grow on the ground, protected from the harsh desert landscapes above. Tea Kettle (Tea Pot) Cave is located just north of Gooding. The roads can be rough and require a high clearance vehicle. Visitors can also park and walk in to the cave opening.
Please visit this location with care and respect. Also, be aware snakes are common in caves around Southern Idaho.
