Why take a holiday trip to Hagerman? This small community has incredible local businesses and unique nature. Hagerman is home to stunning blue water views such as Box Canyon, Lemmon Falls at Ritter Island, Malad Gorge and even a slot canyon on Kelton Trail! Usually these parks can be busy, but not this time of year. Enjoy any of the Thousand Springs State Park units with next to no people around. Go Idaho hot springing at Miracle Hot Springs. These hot springs are open year round, and November and December are the perfect months to soak.

What to Expect at Hagerman’s Lighted Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting
The fun parade will begin at the south end of Hagerman, and travel to the City Park. Here, the Tree Lighting will occur. This event is perfect for your family, where the kids can feel the Christmas cheer. Treat yourself to a cute new sweater, or get some Christmas shopping done at the locally owned and operated Wild Sweet Pea.
Fire Pie Pizza and Pasta is located Downtown Hagerman. They have indoor seating as well as a perfect cozy outdoor area where the fires can keep you warm.

Have dinner at the Snake River Grill after you’ve viewed all the holiday lights and shopped the incredible local businesses. They have a great set up, delicious food, and amazing service. Bullets ‘n Brews can suit your coffee needs to get you energized for the day! Both of these businesses are locally owned treasures. The Hagerman Valley Inn is also a fantastic spot to spend the night. The river is located just minutes from here as well as the restaurants.
Outdoor Recreation & Birding in Hagerman
Many variations of treasure can be found in the Hagerman Valley. Enjoy hikes nearby such as Box Canyon and the Hagerman Fossil Beds. Stop by the Thousand Springs and Hagerman Fossil Bed Visitors Center to discover truly what this area has to uncover. Find the bike path from the Visitor Center all the way to Downtown Hagerman.
