There are incredible events coming your way this fall. From laser shows to art festivals; fall events in Southern Idaho are a blast! Here’s a list of all of our favorite events you cannot miss. 

Joe Mama’s Car Show – August

Joe Mamas Car Show is in Jerome, Idaho. The event is in August The car show is one of the largest in the state! There are activities on Friday night and the main show is on Saturday. The annual location is at Jerome City Park where all the cars light up and sparkle in the sunshine. Enjoy treats and lunch from vendors, take in the beautiful vehicles and chat with their proud owners. A great place to stay in Jerome is at the KOA, conveniently located near I-84. This way, you’re close to the beautiful nature like Shoshone Falls, Perrine Coulee, and Mermaid Cove! 

Lost N Lava – September

Lost N Lava Cowboy Gathering is a flash back in time. Held in September in Shoshone, Idaho. The gathering is a celebration of the old west heritage and culture. The celebration begins Friday afternoon and goes through Saturday evening with entertainment for all ages. Lost N Lava is at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds. The concerts and poetry readings are a blast! We recommend grabbing some ice cream from the Shoshone Snack Bar at some point to cool off and enjoy. 

Blast on the Grass – September

A Blast on the Grass Car Show is September. Enjoy a day in Hagerman by dining with vendors, raffle, scavenger hunt, live music and of course lots of beautiful cars! Stay at the Hagerman Valley in for a good nights rest and eat at Smokey Bone BBQ’s for the best BBQ around. 

Thousand Springs Festival of the Arts – September

Thousand Springs Festival, Twin Falls, Idaho

Thousand Springs Festival of the Arts is an amazing art show with tons of unique and crafty vendors! There is delicious food of all sorts, from food trucks to vendors who make an assortment of goodies. Find dozens of craft vendors like pottery, jewelry, clothing, and more. The event is held down on Ritter Island, a beautiful historic site that sits on vibrant blue water with waterfalls all around. Support local creators and go home with uniquely delightful crafts!

Twin Falls County Fair & Magic Valley Stampede – October

Packed with rodeo thrills, monster trucks, concerts, food, rides, and family fun! Join us Wednesday September 2 – Monday September 7, 2026. 🐎

Oktoberfest – October

Oktoberfest is held in Twin Falls, Idaho held Downtown Twin Falls. Enjoy live music, kids activities, local Idaho food vendors, and lots of beer! The beer tent is calling your name to have a fun and responsible night. Explore the other shops downtown and support local. We recommend staying at the Filmore Inn, not too far from Downtown!
