Southern Idaho is ready to celebrate the Fourth of July! Have fun in the vibrant town of Rupert at Rupert’s 4th of July Celebration, enjoy Buhl’s Sage Brush Days, or view fireworks in Twin Falls at the College of Southern Idaho. Warm weather, fun events, good food, and live music is what you’ll experience when celebrating Independence Day in Idaho!

Rupert’s 4th of July Celebration

Join in on the fun at Rupert’s Fourth of July Celebration, July 1st – July 4th, 2023! This year’s theme is “Liberty – Our Heritage and Hope.” July 1st is the best kick off day to attend! Enjoy Food Booths at 11:00am, a car show 4-7pm, live music by Drive at 7:3o, and an incredible fireworks show at 10:15!

While you’re in Rupert we suggest checking out Sofie’s Chatterbox for delicious breakfast food! A great place to stay is the Drift Inn, where they also serve delicious comfort food. If the heat gets to you, head over to Heyburn Riverside Park and rent a kayak from Idaho Water Sports. They are located right on the water and you have access to paddle from there. On a hot day in July, nothing feels better than a dip in the Snake River!

Sagebrush Days in Buhl

Buhl is an amazing place to visit with all the incredible nature that surrounds. Celebrate the Fourth of July at Sagebrush Days in Buhl!

On July 3rd there will be a parade, a fun run and food vendors. The Buhl Key Club is hosting their annual fun run at 7AM. A fun 4th of July parade will follow the fun run, located down Highway 30 to the west. The floats, dancers and horses are all decorated festively and bystanders can expect lots and lots of candy! The park will open at 11am with vendors, beer and wine garden, live music and activities. Of course, they will end the spectacular day with a fantastic Fourth of July Firework display at dusk!

Grab ice cream at Cloverleaf Creamery or beer and soda at Magic Valley Brewing. The perfect place to stay is Billingsley Creek Lodge where you can book a white water rafting trip to really cool off this Fourth of July. Have an amazing time at the event and stay safe!

Twin Falls Fireworks at CSI

This year’s City of Twin Falls Independence Day Fireworks Display at the College of Southern Idaho will take place July 4th around 10PM. We suggest arriving early as parking will fill up quickly. We are very excited for the annual display that’s the largest show they’ve put on in the last 8 years!

Before the show, walk around Downtown Twin to enjoy all the local businesses. There are many fun shops to browse downtown like the Brass Monkey! Fashion 15 and Below is a great place to get an outfit for the show. Dine at local restaurants like Koto Brewing, Milner’s Gate, Saffron Indian Cuisine, and many others. If you need a pick-me-up Twin Beans Coffee Co is a great place!

Jerome Freedom Fest

The 7th annual Jerome Freedom Fest is July 1st, 2023 3:00-9:00PM at ICCU and Veterans Memorial Parks enjoy live music, food, and FUN! The firework show will be based at Jerome High School at dusk.

Dine at Choate’s for brunch/lunch before the festivities begin! It’s the cutest retro diner that has all types of delicious foods. There are some great hotels in Jerome that are affordable and cozy.

Hagerman 4th of July Independence Day Celebration

Enjoy fireworks July 30th and a fun day of festivities in the Hagerman City Park. Hagerman Valley Chamber of Commerce will be sponsoring an evening of Patriotic Themed music and Fireworks! Free of charge in the Hagerman City Park. Food Vendors and Flag Retiring Ceremony. Get rentals at Hydro Hustlers Downtown Hagerman to enjoy the beautiful summer weather. They have e-bikes, kayaks, paddle boards and more. Dine at the Snake River Grill for the best food!
