The Board of Directors of Southern Idaho Tourism is pleased to announce that Melissa Barry will succeed Debbie Dane as Executive Director of Southern Idaho Tourism.
A native of Twin Falls, Melissa is a graduate of the University of Idaho with a degree in Resource Recreation and Tourism. She has worked in marketing, event management and sales, with the body of her work being with sporting good giant, Cabela’s.
Melissa brings expertise and a commitment to growing the tourism market. “Southern Idaho is brimming with potential and an ideal platform for recreation and tourism,” she says.
Melissa begins at Southern Idaho Tourism on Monday, May 16, and will work with Debbie until June 15th, her retirement date.
