Kick off Thanksgiving morning with a little exercise, fresh air, and family fun at the College of Southern Idaho’s Annual 5K Turkey Trot & Walk on Thursday, November 26, 2026, in Twin Falls! Hosted by CSI’s General Education Department and GNED 101 students, this non-timed 5K welcomes runners and walkers of all ages and fitness levels. The festivities begin with check-in and registration at 8:00 AM inside the CSI Expo Center, followed by the race at 9:00 AM. Participants will receive a custom CSI beanie, and registered four-legged friends can even take home a dog rope toy! Keep an eye out for hidden frozen turkeys and pumpkin pies along the course—find one and carry it across the finish line, and it’s yours to keep! Best of all, proceeds support the development of an outdoor experiential education classroom and supplies for CSI students. Bring the family, get moving, and start your Thanksgiving by giving back to the community! Learn more and register at https://foundation.csi.edu/event-default-page/turkey-trot/.
