The Magic Valley Mall in Twin Falls has welcomed a wildlife zoological center, and the official grand opening: September 30th, 2023.
The nonprofit zoo features animals both native and foreign to Idaho. Exhibits display everything from rainbow trout to alligators in an effort to educate the community about the importance of protecting the natural habitats of wildlife, both locally and worldwide. Find unique and adorable animals that are being cared for by experienced locals. The animals are treated with incredible care and love.
Many of the exhibits are interactive experiences, where visitors will have the opportunity to be up close and personal with various creatures. Children can pet and hold some of the animals and interact with them in other ways. There are also fun activities kids can embark on within the zoological center. We can attest that adults will fully appreciate the effort to protect and serve the animals within the center.
Many of the animals in the zoological center, including a porcupine named Willow, have been rescued or adopted by the managers of the center and raised in environments closely resembling their native habitats. Their exhibits in the zoological center have been funded by various businesses in the community.
