The Magic Valley Mall in Twin Falls will soon be welcoming a wildlife zoological center.

The nonprofit zoo will feature animals both native and foreign to Idaho. Exhibits will display everything from rainbow trout to alligators in an effort to educate the community about the importance of protecting the natural habitats of wildlife, both locally and worldwide.

Many of the exhibits will be interactive experiences, where visitors will have the opportunity to be up close and personal with various creatures. Options will be available to feed animals and book private party rooms, as well as purchase VIP passes.

Many of the animals in the zoological center, including a porcupine named Willow, have been rescued or adopted by the managers of the center and raised in environments closely resembling their native habitats. Their exhibits in the zoological center have been funded by various businesses in the community.

If you are interested in sponsoring an exhibit or donating to the mission of the zoological center, you can do so on the Twin Falls Zoological Center website. Additionally, there are volunteer opportunities available to the public.

The Twin Falls Zoological Center is committed to educating the public about our planet and bringing understanding to the ways we can affect wildlife.

If you’re making plans to visit Twin Falls in the future, be sure to add this stop to your bucket list!
