And of course, the freshness and locally grown aspect are a big part of what makes the fruit taste so good. Kelley’s Canyon Orchard is a locally owned historic orchard that provides u-pick options and fresh produce ready for purchase.
Locally Owned and Operated Orchard in the Snake River Canyon
Kelley’s Canyon Orchard, located in the Snake River Canyon north of Filer, provides fresh, locally grown peaches, pears, plums, watermelon, cantaloupe and tomatoes. The fruit has been picked for immediate sale, or you can pick your own!
Daily operations in 2022 will begin August 26th through Oct. 6, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Fruit has been harvested on the Kelley family owned- and -operated orchard in the Snake River Canyon for well over 100 years. The farm is operated by the 5th generation of Kelley family women, Robin and Gretchen Kelley.
“Tis the season for fresh fruit!” Robin Kelley says. “It’s the perfect time of year for tree fruit. We enjoy bringing the bounty of the orchard to people who love the freshness of good produce.”

U-Pick & Fresh Produce
Seize the day and go pick up some fresh fruit at Kelley’s Canyon Orchard as a delectable and healthy eating choice for you and your family. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own containers for U-pick fruit. Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy by the scenic Snake River (hats, sun screen and bug spray recommended). There are buckets available for U-Pick fruit as well if you don’t have your own, and it truly such a fun family bonding experience. Walk through the Idaho U-Pick Orchard and spot all your favorite looking plums, peaches and pears.
Kelley’s Canyon Orchard is located near the Thousand Springs Scenic Byway. There are a multitude of things to see and do in Snake River Canyon and along the byway, including paddling the Snake, visiting Niagara Springs Wildlife Management Area, Clear Springs Trout facilities, Miracle and Banbury Hot Springs and more.
