The 2025 City of Rocks Pioneer Endurance Ride is set to take place from May 30 to June 1, 2025, at the Castleview RV Park near Almo, Idaho. Trail Information:

The courses primarily consist of crushed granite dust or sand, with some sections featuring rocky terrain and slick rock. Riders will navigate a mix of single-track, double-track jeep trails, cow paths, groomed trails, and packed dirt roads. Ride Camp Amenities:

  • Camping: Included with entry fee from May 30 to June 3; $10 per night outside these dates.
  • Facilities: Port-a-potties and horse water provided; no RV hookups or potable water.
  • Regulations: No campfires or open flames; dogs must be leashed; quiet hours from 10 PM to 4 AM.

Meals:

Evening meals are available for purchase and will be catered by the Tracy General Store in Almo. Dinners are served buffet-style at 5:30 PM each evening. Riders without a crew can have their meals held until they finish; advance notice is required.

Schedule:

  • Wednesday, May 28: Ride camp opens at 9:00 AM
  • Thursday, May 29: Registration and pre-ride vet check from 1:00–6:00 PM; ride meeting at 6:00 PM
  • Friday to Sunday, May 30–June 1: Rides start at 7:00 AM (50/55 miles), 8:00 AM (30 miles), and 9:30 AM (Intro Ride); dinners at 5:30 PM; ride meetings and awards follow
  • Monday, June 2: Ride camp closes at 6:00 PM
